<p>I don't want to go to Harvard, nor could I get in. However, as a 25% Mayflower descent person (I'm tired and not making sense) I am related to a couple of dead US Presidents who attended Harvard in the 1700s & 1800s? Does that matter at all. I don't really think it does...</p>
<p>I wouldn’t draw too much attention to it- I mean, it’s interesting, but it’s doubtful it’ll help at all. Dead US presidents can’t make donations after all :p</p>
<p>I agree…interesting, in a personal genealogical sort of way…but for college admissions, you are basically saying that you come from a long line of priviledged white people…and I’m not sure how that would work as a “hook”.</p>
