Hi guys,
I know it says this is not an offer of admission, buy I wonder if this is a likely letter. (Or is this just a reminder? Like an advertisement?) Thank you!

I know you can help Do you have an idea? Thank you. @Gumbymom
No, it’s not a likely letter; I’m pretty sure everyone who applied got one(got one of those last year). The letter is kind of like an advertisement.
I can’t make sure because I checked my previous emails and I received something like this before, but it wasn’ like this.
It didn’t even include the word “admission” at all
I didn’t get that letter, but I am not an international applicant… any local applicants get this?
Any other international applicants got this within this week?
My S got a similar email but for OOS students.
Looks like an advertisement .
That is so clearly not a likely letter. Google what they can look like.
I googled and couldn’t find anything. I know it looks like an ad. but then I thought what use does it have if I wasn’t accepted? If I am not accepted, the ad they send after I submit my application wouldn’t make any use or sense. @carolinamom2boys
What is an OOS student? @crowlady
Out Of State.
Cynically, I suspect they send to international and OOS so we don’t get discouraged and are more likely to attend if accepted. This is
important because even with scholarship they will get more money from us.
I didn’t get one, but I’m an instate student. I haven’t heard anything from the school since I sent in my application!
@HopefulCASenior Don’t worry, like they said this probably isn’t a likely letter.
Your stats are pretty good, you should make it in.
@HopefulCASenior If you haven’t heard anything there is likely a problem. You should have an email on setting up a portal at least. Maybe emails are going into spam, for example.
Oh, I’ve gotten those. I just haven’t gotten anything more than “We received your app” and “Access your portal”
@HopefulCASenior Like I said, don’t worry. It’s probably because you are in-state student.
Out of state and I got one, it’s nothing major i’m 99% sure, just an ad really
