I’m taking dual enrollment classes at my high school through a university I put the university in the ‘colleges and universities’ section of my common app. I checked off dual enrollment with high school and credit awarded, since i get three credits from taking the classes. Did i mess up? i put the dates i was taking the courses, but it said the dates you attended… the courses i took through the university are on my transcript. i already emailed the schools previously due to a other mistake which was major but they corrected it. should i email AGAIN? should i correct it
It doesn’t sound like you made any mistake. At least I am not seeing it. Do you think the confusion lies in dates attended vs. taking the courses? That isn’t a problem as you answered accurately and will have the college send a transcript in addition to the high school.
I’m not attending college, im still in high school. But the college courses im enrolled in through my high school is on my transcript.
That is normal, if they are dual enrollment.
Yes, they’re dual enrollment, but i didn’t attend the college, so i thought that would cause some confusion
Nope. You’re fine. Dual enrollment classes can take place at either the high school or the college. It is the fact that you are getting credit from both that sets those apart. You will have to have the college who gave you the DE credits send a transcript as well as your high school at some point.
I don’t have a college transcript?? The credits i earned from the university are on my transcript so why should i send another one? sorry if im confusing you
If you received college credit, then the college has a transcript for you and has you on file. They have to. You can call your guidance counselor and ask how to access this - or call the college.
DD has taken many DE courses and she has a login ID and password for the college that awarded credit in addition to her high school. We can access her DE and CE grades from either portal. Your system might not be the same, but if you have college credit, you have a record and a transcript there.
ohh i see. sorry for the confusion!
