Is this a realistic chance?

<p>My top college choice is UPenn (early decision) and I was wondering if I'm being realistic</p>

<p>GPA: 4. 13 (W) and 3.81 (UW)
Rank: My school doesn't do rank
ACT: 32 (but will retake in September)
SAT II Korean: 740 (not amazing I know)
SAT II Biology: 690 (retaking in October)
AP Scores: 4 (AP Chemistry), 4 (AP Biology), 3 (Eng Language), 3 (AP Comp Sci)</p>

<p>EC Activities/Awards
1. Current YAC member for buildOn (a non profit organization that deals with student empowerment and builds schools in developing countries. They send two people from each school to build a school over the summer and I'm applying) since this year. I've been part of buildOn since freshman year.
2. Treasuer for Model UN club since this year
3. A Galaxy Explorer at Chabot Space and Science Center since the summer of 10th grade
4. Volunteer as a hw tutor at my local library since 10th grade
5. Volunteer at Chaparral House (a nursing home) since 10th grade
6. Stage Crew for my school's theater ensemble since freshman year.
7. Stage Manager at SF Theater Festival every summer since freshman year
8. Attended Stanford's Youth Leadership Conference and won Grand Prize for best idea in spreading Hep B awearness (as a team)
9. Took two community colleges classes last summer (psychology courses)
10. Tutor high school students in regular and AP Chemistry.
11. Attended Technovation Challenge (in the spring) where girls are empowered to create an app for Google's Android.
12. Won Discus Awards
13. Won award for doing more than 100 community service hours last year (among around 350 people)
14. Won Presidental's Service Awards (over 300 hours so far)
15. Have played the flute for 8 years and is part of the wind ensemble Winds Across the Bay
16. Was a Teacher's Assistant for a biology class and conducted several lectures, and labs for Chemistry and AP Chemistry)
17. Went to buildOn's Trek for Knowledge to Haiti to live in a village for 2 weeks and helped to build a school</p>

<p>Well, this is UPenn we’re talking about. It’s a reach for EVERYONE. You may increase your chances, but there isn’t really any such thing as there being a realistic chance…well, unless your GPA is a 2.0, you’re lazy, you do nothing, etc, etc.</p>

<p>Everything looks okay, so you do have a chance (though a rather small one), but I wouldn’t count on getting in.</p>

<p>It’s a SEMI-realistic chance given your GPA and test scores. Your EC’s are better, in comparison. Good luck! I’d say more realistic chances come at schools like Duke, Northwestern, Tufts, Georgetown, etc. etc.</p>

<p>Your ACT and GPA is much lower than most applicants, but I would go for it due to your decent ECs. Remember though, the smartest and more capable students are applying, what makes you different?</p>
