Is this a rigorous enough high school course load?

I am interested in applying to Cornell, University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, University of Florida, Florida Institute of Technology, and Georgia Tech and was wondering if this course load through high school is rigorous enough. Also, I was wondering what tier of colleges this would be considered rigorous enough for?

Freshman year:
Pre-IB English I
Pre-IB World History
Pre-Calculus
Pre-IB Biology I
Physics I Honors
Pre-IB Spanish I
Draw/Paint I

Sophomore Year:
AP Language and Comp
AP US Government
AP Calculus AB
AP Physics B
Pre-IB Chemistry I
Pre-IB Spanish II
Pre-AP Art 2-D

Junior Year:
Research 6(Preparation for the TOK and Extended Essay aspects of the IB Diploma)
IB Biology II SL
Calculus II/III(Dual enrollment through local college)
AP English Lit/IB English III

IB American History
AP Physics C

Senior Year:
IB English IV
IB History of the Americas
Differential Equations/Matrix Theory(dual enrollment)
Theory Of Knowledge
IB Spanish V
IB Biology III HL
IB Physics HL

Also will have taken two classes through the local college in the summer as a requirement for my school: Fundamentals of Engineering Honors and Electronic Design & Operational Amplifiers

Are you kidding me??? You got to be either completely ignorant or a complete jerk to post this.

Sheesh... 4 APs sophomore year...

that's seriously good? people in my same grade were taking like 6?

You must come from a very good high school with an environment conductive to learning. I took one AP and Alg II sophomore year.

yeah it's a pretty good school. i think it's the number three high school in the US according to newsweek but that whole system they use to rate the schools isn't a very good one in my opinion. we're only that high up because we take so many AP exams but they don't reflect how the kids do on these exams which in truth isn't all that spectacular for the most part. at my school that is

well in any case, for the colleges you listed, that is definitely rigorous enough. anyone who can survive physics hl definitely has done quite well in school.

i havent made it there yet but i did really well in AP physics B and am doing even better in Physics C so hopefully i can make it through HL haha

bump......

defintely not rigorous enough...anything less than 25 APs is just asking for rejection

yeah thats what i thought haha =P

Wow that's amazing.

I wish I took those courses...my couses are just childish compared to that!

seriously? haha wanna trade places? idk i guess i'll be happy i took all of them later. things just tend to get a little crazy with all of them especially toward exam time.

I bet! But seriously...that is beyond amazing that you are taking all of these courses. We're in the same grade (you're I junior right?) and I'm taking AP US, AP Psych, AP Environ, Pre-calc, Honors Lit and Yearbook. You definetly have me beat.

Yes I'm a junior and your classes don't seem that easy either.

That's an extremely rigorous course load.
Wow.
Applauds

haha thanks. i guess that answers my question about whether or not my course load was rigorous so the kids at my school with crazier schedules are just freaks i guess

Useless thread.

Seriously, you know this.

not really? i don't know many people outside of my school so i don't really know what other people are taking at my grade level.

uf....fit....gatech....yeah you're fine

thanks for answering that
