Hey, I'm still unsure what I wanna do with my life...so do you think I could apply to the engineering school and try to major in mechanical engineering, while still taking all the required courses for pre-med? And if it is possible, will the workload kill me?

It seems to be that you would only have to take biology and chemistry (organic and inorganic) courses in addition to physics and math courses (which you will have to take anyway being in meche). I'd say it's able to be done - in fact one of the options I was considering for college was ChemE w/ pre med. No one can really tell you if the workload will kill you, but if I were doing this I wouldn't be unnaturally worried until I had to take organic chemistry with all of those engineering courses. Of course ChemE's have to take organic chem (at least at the last school I looked at) and they get along fine so hey.

The commonly accepted coursework requirements for medical school include a minimum of 1 year of: Biology, 8 semester hours
General Chemistry, 8 semester hours
Organic Chemistry, 4 semester hours
Biochemistry, 4 semester hours
Physics, 8 semester hour
