For my Tufts essay about how I've been shaped by my environment, I'm writing about how my small, very agrarian, blue collar high school has taught me a lot about how to judge people based on their personalities, rather than their clothes/cars like at other, more affluent schools. I might have even used the whole "my school gave me a different kind of education" line... is that really overdone??

Please tell me, because I'm using that for my University of Rochester supplement too, and I need to mail that by Thursday if I want to be considered for the scholarship...

cool thanks beprepn... and no I made sure not to sound like I hated the rich lol

Please no one else comment on this and say that you think the topic's cliche because I'm sending it out tomorrow as is and I don't want to think that I could've done better on it...

Heh, I think it's fine, I wrote that essay for Tufts too, and honestly, whatever comes to you about your family, comes to you, and that's that, no need to make something extraordinary up. Good luck, I hope we both get in! :)
