<p>I attend a CC in Florida and I recently received what was called a "Special Invitation from The National Scholars Honor Society". It said that I can apply online at <a href="http://www.collegehonors.org%5B/url%5D">www.collegehonors.org</a>. I went there to check it out and there is an application fee which makes me weary. I am a member of PTK which has a fee but is legit. Does anyone have any info about this at all? Heard of it? Is it a scam? I've asked around at school no one really had any info. Thanks all in advance.</p>
<p>If it's making you suspicious of it, then chances are it's not legit.</p>
<p>It's legitimate in the sense that its a law-abiding business that pays taxes and makes money for its owners. What "joining" will do for you is another question; my guess is just about nothing.</p>
