So this is my list so far for my bed stuff:
-sheets
-comforter
-mattress bed topper
-pillows/pillow cases
-mattress pad
-fleece throw
-thermal blanket
Do I need something else or can I take something off this list?
Looks good to me. I just bought a bed set that came with pillow cases, a fitted sheet, and a normal sheet. I bought a comforter and that’s all that I’m bringing. Oh and definitely get a mattress pad! Dorm beds are not very comfortable at all!
The list looks good. If you want you can get a mattress protector, to provide a barrier between your sheets and the mattress, depending on the condition of the mattress. I used one. Also, some mattress slide around with use, so a rubber matt between the topper and mattress or mattress protecter can prevent that.
Not sure if you already planned on this, but I’d get at least two complete sets of sheets so you have one set while you’re washing the other or anything.
I would add a backrest pillow if you like to sit up in bed to do things
If you want, you can replace the regular mattress pad w/a memory foam pad. So comfy.
I’d add bedbug protectors for mattress & pillow. Better safe than sorry.
Some schools have bed bug-resistant mattresses (basically rubberized exterior). In which case, the mattress pad becomes the important part.
