i think if you take the ac class pass fail (assuming you dont need it for your major and are just doing it for the campus AC requirentm) it should be reasonable. BIO 1a and chinese are probably going to take up a lot of time though. dont know much about econ though-sorry :)

you will be in a lot of pain if you do that, you need to drop one of those classes

hmm… i might give it a go… hmm. yes maybe.

ESPM 50AC seriously has the work of a 1 unit class if you don’t do the reading, which frankly you can still get an A without even reading the giant readers. Just go to class and listen. This is a class you should never P/NP because you will regret not having just gotten that A with so little effort.

Bio 1a/l = dunno
math16b and econ 3 = if you are a math person these 2 should be fine
espm 50ac = what Calbear2013 said
chinese 1ax = if you speak chinese this class should be fine

besides fulfilling the american cultures req, does the espm 50ac satisfy any breadth reqs?

philosophy & values i think

I looked at the fall schedule and it said that apsm 50ac was already filled up and there was a waitlist of 27 people…is this right?? How could classes fill up that fast? I havent even started signing up for classes!

im already in it.

wow, that’s quick for a class to fill up.

will that happen to classes I wanna take as a Freshman? And where can I check to see if the classes I want are filled up or not?

schedule.berkeley.edu some classes fill up quickly.

i’m guessing as an incoming freshman, I can’t access or reserve classes till CalSO.

Meh, I’d better not lose all my classes. What happens if the classes I chose to show counselors at CalSO end up getting filled? Should I have back-up classes in reserve to bring along with me?

yes, definitely have backup courses and be flexible. There are lots of potential courses - major pre-reqs, breadths, R&C, AC . . . just figure out all your possibilites and then let the availability steer you to the ones you choose this semester.

ESPM 50AC fills up super quick because everybody knows that it is an easy A.
