<p>Ok, so im not sure where to put this but i just started a debate club at my school. I wanna know how to operate this thing? To be honest, I thought we just think of random topics to debate. But does it get any more complicated than that? Im familiar with the rules of debating, just not the operation of the club in general. If someone ever started a debate club or has one at his/her school in which he/she is involved, can you fill me in how your club operates?</p>

<p>Look at the National Forensic League website. They have tournaments, and if you don’t want to pay them the $99 (!) then they have ideas for different formats for debates on their websites.</p>
