Is transferring 3 times excessive? How do i explain to my parents?

I think 6 years, but some schools will not give aid beyond 4 or the # of credit hours needed to graduate. You really need to ask at the particular school.

Have you visited UNC? I would not transfer again without visiting. It seems that you jump into things a little too quickly, my friend. And, yes, financial aid could be an issue. Government aid isn’t intended for people to be students forever.

ok since UNC will only accept 75 credit hours to transfer in, they would consider me a junior only …thus they should allow me 2 years of the covenant schoalrship right?

How do you know that 75 is the number of credit hours they will recognize? Have you already gotten personal confirmation of that fact from UNC?

It seems more logical to transfer back to the state flagship for financial reasons. Then maybe you’d only have one more year and its easy to explain.

they accept of maximum 75 hours. Im hoping that i will still be a junior, and then can get the covenant scholarship for 2 years and finish up my BA poli sci.

Just because UNC recognizes a MAX of 76, have you received anything from UNC that they WOULD award you 75 credits and give you ANY $$$ award?

Many schools do NOT give $$$$ to transfers. Be sure to have assumptions confirmed in writing before proceeding. Agree it makes more sense to get transfer back to your state flagship to get BA and save $$$.
