Is transferring into Fordham significantly difficult?

I am currently a freshman at a respectable school in my home state of Virginia. I have been looking into Fordham, and it seems like everything I could ever want in terms of location and education. I love the city and am currently in a rural setting, the exact opposite. I still enjoy my school, don't get me wrong, but being in NYC has been my dream since I've been a kid. Without making this a "Chance Me" post, I'll just give a short summary of where I stand so I can hit reality in one post. Finished this freshman semester with a 3.54, finished high school with a 3.99 (weighted), 4 AP classes in high school, but very average and rather low SAT. Varsity captain, etc. I am in love with the LC campus, but the RH looks just as beautiful, as it does closely resemble my current university. Any suggestions as to how I should feel about this place? Is it as perfect as I am seeing it in pictures/videos/reviews? Thank you!

Fordham is very expensive. Transfer students dont get scholarships. And rely entirely on financial aid.

The grass is not always greener, btw. Though in some cases it makes a difference in success and happiness.

Transfer students arent lumped into the reported scores and stats and your scores may well be okay. It doesnt hurt to apply and see what happens. They notify transfer students LATE. So be patient.

Apply with FAFSA.

Fordham is rigorous. Its competitive. Its New York. Be prepared.
