I see that UPenn has very specific course requirements for transfers: one in chem, physics, comp sci, math and two in ss. I mean, unless a student from another college intended to transfer to UPenn since their first sem, this seems pretty damn particular and unnecessary. Besides, it's possible to take any of these missing requirements upon entering the school right?

So I was wondering if they're really specific specific about checking courses taken. Thank you.

I dont believe that is true. Notre Dame follows those requirements and will not accept a student unless they have taken those designated courses…Penn is not like that.

I was accepted as a transfer to Penn and have not taken physics and comp sci…in fact I probably will go my whole college tenure without taking comp sci…I think your information has to be false.

If you were waitlisted for RD, then in a couple years would that give you a bonus in transferring?

Oops, I have to clarify that I was inquiring about the engineering college.
