Hi, i was wondering if i took one course in math and one course in science, if I still had a shot to go to notre dame. According to the "Evaluation guide for transfers" website, it says, "The Transfer Committee gives preference to students who have completed the math and science requirements specified below." but i only completed 1 of each :( not the 2 courses they want of each...i pretty much completed everything else...do i still have a shot?

It doesn't help but I do have friends that have gotten in missing one of each, so I know it can happen. They may ask you to take summer school if accepted or to complete those in your first semester at ND but that alone I do not think will keep you out of Notre Dame. It doesn't help, but if everything else is good, I think you will still get in. Good luck!

would it be harder to transfer in the spring? if its the same, i may be able to finish at least the science requirement. Im not sure about the math (calc sucks) lol, and i will be taking stats this summer

They normally don't accept many transfers in the spring and those they do accept are normally from Saint Mary's or Holy Cross as they are just across the street and can adapt more easily. I would have probably tried again in the spring when I was transferring but luckily it worked the first time. Don't give up yet, you haven't heard either way and you definately have a shot. Just see what happens and we can go from there but I definately know people who have gotten in without those classes. Try not to worry too much!
