Is UT Austin reputable college?

Hi, I’m a Senior who goes to high school in California.
I was accepted to UT Austin math major in mid-December and I’m curious about UT Austin’s reputation at Texas
I realize Texas is one of the good state to build career in Finance, so here’s my question
Is UT Austin Math major reputable at Texas? What is UT Austin’s reputation in other states?

As good as UCLA.

Well known worldwide. Its reputation has been improving for years.

I wouldn’t say it’s AS good as UCLA, but UT Austin is an excellent school in its own right.

@cckrie UT is very well respected and has a very good math program.

Which UC’s did you apply to?

Are you concerned that being math major might be too difficult for you since you’re getting a C in AP Calc?

Have your parents said that they’ll pay the $50k per year to go to UTexas?

UT Austin is a perfectly good school, but can you afford it as a non-Texas resident?
