Is Wharton's acceptance rate really 7%?

Well, the title says it all. I just want to know if it is really this selective, and how do you know! thanks

Not if you’re Donald Trump’s daughter. On a more serious note, why would you doubt the accuracy of that figure for admission to the most sought-after US business school ?

Earlier this year, one of the more well-informed posters here did some calculations based on available data and certain assumptions, and determined that Wharton’s acceptance rate is, indeed, in the neighborhood of 7% or so (read posts 136, 137, and 141, and the documents linked therein):

What about the ED acceptance rate for Wharton? Any ballpark estimates?

Since the ED rate is 25% across all schools, it would be ballpark to say Wharton ED is 2 times normal. Which would make it around 15%

ED is probably 17-20%. Or slightly lower, but much higher than the 7%.

The funny thing is, she is at Penn, but is in the College. However, I’m pretty sure that that was by choice.
