ISEE Lower Level Results. Ar these Good?

Moment of reality for us. I thought my kids would get much better than they got based on the practice tests but it is what it is. Here are the Lower Level ISEE results for my twin kids who are 5th graders. They will apply to a few schools in NJ for 6th grade entrance. With these scores, do they still have a chance for top NJ day schools like Pingry and NA? They have good grades and they will have good rec letters based on our conversation with their teachers.

Kid #1
Verbal - Stanine 5
Reading Comp - Stanine 6
Quantitative Reasoning - Stanine 6
Math Achievement - Stanine 4

Kid #2
Verbal - Stanine 4
Reading Comp - Stanine 3
Quantitative Reasoning - Stanine 7
Math Achievement - Stanine 5

I’m not familiar with the ISEE. What do these convert to for percentiles? Pingry will look for SSATs in the high 70s and above.

Not familiar with NJ schools either, but when we applied to NYC day schools (6th grade) we were told that they were looking for 6s and above. Preferably higher. Riverdale, Fieldston, Dalton etc.
