<p>I mean, that's sort of the whole basis for different religions. If anyone who "believes in God" has same chance of getting into heaven then what the hell's point of having different religions???</p>
<p>Nonetheless, it's easy to see why you could get confused as the Qu'ranic reference was aimed at those who believed in God BEFORE the coming of Islam as opposed to all believers in God during/after the coming of Islam.</p>

<p>While obviously Muslims hold Christians are un-believers and when they are aggressive, as enemies, the Qu'ran EXPLICITLY states that they are "misguided" and not "heathen." As Allah (one of Whose titles is The Most Merciful) forgives those who are misguided, Christians and Jews can sometimes enter heaven.</p>
