How can I isolate my SAT prep by just doing passages? I have both blue books but don't want to waste tests by simply just doing the CR sections. Are there any great books out there that have all the SAT reading passages that one could wish for?

Thanks

Kaplan CR workbook.

c’mon thats the easiest part are you kidding?

Nah, writing and math are the easiest. But then again, I don’t particularly enjoy reading passages from obscure novels. I do like the science/argumentative passages though.

ya those are easy too

Have you scored an 800 in reading on PSAT or SAT?

Thanks. Are there any other suggestions?

Yeah, the CR workbook is what one of my friends used and he got a 740.

No company has been able to accurately replicate BB tests but I guess Barrons would be your best bet if you really need the practice.

The BB tests should be enough, though.

CR workbooks seem to be what you’re looking for. However, honestly, there really isn’t too much of a difference between using just the CR passages from entire practice tests and doing excersizes from specialized books.

Kaplans seems to be the best (it’s what I used). I started going through the barrons workbook. Barrons is tricky, which may sound like a good thing, but its answer explanations are sub-par. Thus, it is likely that you will be confused by doing questions. Not really worth it in my opinion. I found Princeton Review CR to be the best. It is harder than the actual test, but the questions are very close to what you will find on the actual test. The explanations are also pretty decent, though maybe not as extensive as those found in kaplans.
