I'm applying to Reed, and (stupidly) forgot that today was a national holiday. I was able to submit the common portion of it - as well as the payment - online, but the supplement and writing sample need to be mailed. Obviously, it will not be postmarked today, and I know that some colleges are stricter than others about deadlines. Does anyone have any advice?

Bump. This is urgent.

Just FEDEX it for early delivery. FEDEX is probably open today. They will see your effort and it will probably arrive sooner than in it were mailed by the required USPS date. Reed is probably not looking to disqualify potential students who are willing to shell out over $40,000 per year over a delayed postmark. They don't expect perfection.
