Iternatioanl student, how much aid should I expect?

<p>First of all, yes, I know that it's extremely hard for international students to get in when they need financial aid, but hey, I have to try. I'm hoping my minority status will slightly boost my chances since there are no students from my country at the schools I'm planning to apply. Also, they all meet full aid for international students, it's just more competitive.</p>

<p>My family's income is very low, I estimate it at around $11k a year. Right now they pay roughly 1.8-2k for my school every year, so that's the most they can contribute (maybe 2.5k), but I'm beginning to get paranoid about schools accepting me with an EFC higher than 2k. </p>

<p>Do you guys think I'll be able to get enough FA, if I get in?</p>
