I was wondering if Ithaca would be hard to get into considering I failed a few freshmen classes due to being absent an excessive amount, it was because of my family being homeless twice just that year, and me in the hospital.I worked my ass off to retake all of those classes, for something that wasn’t my fault and got straight A’s retaking them, took dual enrollment classes at a community college while enrolled in a school that didn’t have AP, have letters of recommendation, community service hours, a strong theater and science background, and my GPA didn’t suffer it’s about a 3.8 so far I may be able to raise it my school doesn’t weight dual enrollment classes. I know when I retook classes it fixed my GPA but I still have F’s on my transcript. Ithaca as well as any schools, would my chances be ruined? Also strongly considering going pre-med if not theater so I was wondering if Ithaca prepares you well between internships and course work.
Forgot to mention that besides the classes that I failed, I have straight A’s, it’s not my GPA that concerns me it’s having F’s on my trnascript
