Ithaca College- Transfer Experience/Chances?

Hi, I’m a current sophomore at Clark University in Worcester, MA. I’m an intended theatre major with a concentration in directing. I am potentially looking to transfer colleges and Ithaca is one of my top choices. I had applied to Ithaca EA, but after getting accepted to Clark ED, I withdrew.

My question has two parts:

  1. What are my chances of getting into Ithaca as a second-semester sophomore transfer student? I have a lot of family history in Ithaca (as in connections). I did not do so well the first semester of my freshman year, but have improved my grades notably since.

  2. How would a transfer student fit into the Ithaca climate? Specifically, in the theatre department? Would it be difficult to make friends, find a group, break into the theatre scene, etc.?
