I am trying to decide whether I shall go to Ithaca or Syracuse’s acting program. Any advice or comparison please?</p>

<p>Both programs have a very good reputation. However, I am more familiar with the program at Syracuse, and it is excellent. In addition, they have a professional Equity theater affiliated with their drama department, which gives students many additional opportunities to perform, to work with professionals, and even to earn Equity points or join the union.</p>
<p>You might also want to think about the differences in the schools in general. Would you be more comfortable at a smaller school like Ithaca, or a big school like Syracuse? If you haven't already done so, a visit to the campuses would be a good idea. They are quite different; that's not to say that one is better than the other. Many excellent actors have come out of both programs.</p>
