Its almost April and i'm still waiting on my University to send me an admission letter! Help!

its the end of march and almost april and the university at buffalo in new york state has still not sent me a notification or update on my application.
In january they told me i’ll know by early march based off of my senior year performance. i did early action as this is my local university and was my only school that i was (AND STILL AM) only allowed to go to-literally. its my backup and first priority school.
I’ve sent them many emails and got a reply last monday saying that it takes 3-4 weeks to get notified on the admissions’ decisions, however it is sent out in March. all of my friends and classmates who have applied have already gotten into the school-regardless of going there or not.
I’m the only one who actually wanted to go there and MUST go there at UB or i’m stuck with nowhere to go!
is this normal for this school to do this to many applicants??
i have financial aid to think about now and a final decision to be sent out May 1st. I find this crazy yet im terrified and have had alot of anxiety thinking of being rejected from this school.
My grades are pretty good (As) and have alot of volunteer/internship experience, so its not like im being delayed based off my poor grades—i would’ve been rejected right away!
i applied to binghampton and stonybrook but got waitlisted at both and probably wont get in anyway and binghampton was a long shot anyway b/c it doesnt have a great reserach facility for pre-med.

please help. THANKS!!!

Assume you went to your app status page to see that you were not missing any documents from your application? May be that they are sorting thru the last apps that they could accept and will roll those out very soon.
Hard to wait but wait you must. Friday will be here soon enough.

@thisizmyyear2016 this is exactly what’s happening to me!!! I don’t know what’s going on with them. I called admissions multiple times and they said that they are taking longer than expected and are still reviewing applications.

@helpthisstudent1 omg I thought I was freaking alone.
Atleast they picked up the phone for you. They didnt. And all they replied was it take 3-4 weeks to get the status mailed. Ugh! This is not okay. Keep me updated though on what happens.

You should definitely call. I have gotten replies from all 11 colleges i applied to. They will notify you even if you are utterly rejected

Just got an email from them today they accepted me into the spring semester of 2017! And they said they will let me know by June 30, 2016 if there is more room for the fall semester!

Omg I freaking got the same thing except they told me I’ll know by mid May if I’m accepted.
I’m still upset that I’m not in for fall… What will I do for that period of time ya know?
