<p>i'm officially going to MICA. what did everyone else decide on?</p>

<p>My daughter will be attending SCAD Savannah this fall, and is very excited.</p>

<p>Very hard decision. But my D decided on Pratt.</p>

<p>I sent my money to MICA, but my mom said there still a chance I won’t be going if we can’t get the loans.</p>

<p>Yeah, I mean even if I could just go for freshmen year, and transfer become of financial situation, I think I’d still learn loads. The MAT five year program I want to do there has a 100 percent placement rating, but of course teaching doesn’t pay much so my mom is really worried about debt in the future.
What are you planning on majoring in?</p>

<p>yes, i think i want to do the MAT program too. i’m planning on majoring in photography, but i’d also like to experiment in the fibers department.</p>

<p>My D decided on CCA…it was a heartbreaker to decide between MICA, SAIC and CCA, Everyone at the 3 schools was so helpful and nice, but in the end she decided that CCA was the best fit…she got $13K per yr in CCA scholarship, $8K per yr in Creative Achievement award, total gift aid (with Pell Grant) $89,600 over 4 years. And the ACG will add $700 first year (every bit helps!). Will still have to finance a bunch, but in the end I think it will be worth it (I hope!)</p>
