Last.fm is an Internet radio station and music recommendation system that merged with sister site Audioscrobbler in August 2005. The system builds a detailed profile of each user's musical taste, showing their favourite artists and songs on a customizable profile webpage, comprising the songs played on its stations selected via a collaborative filter, or optionally, recorded by a last.fm plugin installed into its users' music playing application.

that's last.fm. put more simply: you download this "last.fm player" which thankfully comes with no weird computer-destroying viruses. you enter in a band, or a genre, that you like, and it allows you to select a radio station that plays songs of that genre, or songs similar those of that band. you can change stations or skip songs. it's pretty nice and it's a good way to find new music.

Now thats one crazy song.... just started going through this new cd, their Black Holes and Revelations CD. They definitely had their fun in the studio.....

The new Muse album is definitely a step in a new direction and I'm loving every second of it so far, even though I've only listened up to Supermassive Black Hole.

Ya, definitely feels different from their norm. In fact, its the songs that sound like their usual direction that I dislike. I didn't care much for their last CD, but this ones very interesting.

My Favorites:
Take A Bow
Supermassive Black Hole

Ehhh. Volcano! - Beautiful Seizures and Ghostface Killah - Fishscale are still my favorite 2006 albums so far; The Eraser was awesome, but it was too overhyped among the alternative communities.
