<p>How's everyone doing? I'm a freshman and English major at St. John's University in Queens. I'm applying as a transfer student to:</p>

<p>Columbia University (giant reach?)
Hampshire College
Berea College
SUNY Geneseo
Brooklyn College</p>

<p>My stats read as follows:
4.0 GPA first semester, 18 credits next semester with mad upper-level English courses
3.3 for HS, but serious improvement in my grades junior and senior year
1840 SAT; 760 CR, 540 M, 560 W</p>

<p>Junior Class President
School paper for 3 years, editor as one
Literary magazine for 4 years
Worked part time for all 4 years of high school</p>

<p>3's on AP Euro and American, 4's on Gov't, Lit, and Comp. My school didn't offer comp but I studied on my own and took it anyway.</p>

<p>I'll most definitely chance you back if you chance me.</p>

<p>Forgot to add that the letters for Columbia are from my professors who are both alumni and former faculty. They both are gonna write really good letters for me.</p>

<p>I think you have a great chance at everywhere well Columbia is a big reach but ur perfect gpa in college n the letters can’t hurt lol goodluck and thanks for the chance</p>
