To all the moms out there (and the dads who had to also be moms) - whether you were a parent to a human or a furry child or both (I was lucky to be a parent to both!) I wish a lovely day celebrating YOU! It’s not easy being a parent.

Hope it’s been an enjoyable day for the moms out there!
I spent the day snuggled up in bed with my 2 teens while watching the video stream of the musical my son was part of. Super impressed with how his school put this all together and feeling more blessed during this pandemic as I know many kids were not as fortunate.
My oldest who is off adulting away from home called and let me know he just earned employee of the month at work. He works/schools each part time. He met one of his new roommates today as well. After a rough past year, he is moving into an apartment who does random roommate matching, fingers crossed it works out but he seems happy so thats good.
My own mom popped in for a quick visit and we have a lunch date coming up. Her and my dad and happily planning travel to truly enjoy their recent retirements.
I have 3 kids who are finding themselves and finding their own paths. Nothing else I could ask for!
