It's Time to Wait

Hey it’s my first and everyone’s last time discussing it! I’m just shocked at how many people here pay… The only person I know who paid from my school had 20 5’s so I say it was worth it…

Are colleges notified on July 1st?

Looks like we will have to wait until July 1st this time.

Remember kids - you vote with your dollar.

$8 isn’t a lot for you to pay, but when you realize that hundreds of thousands of kids take AP tests, that crap adds up in CB’s wallets. They make thousands of dollars essentially by preying off of kids’ academic insecurities (well, that’s a little extreme and cynical but you get the idea). It’s only $8 and isn’t a financial burden for me, but I don’t want those $8 in CB’s wallets.

Not saying CB is an evil corporation or anything, but waiting four or five days to call a teacher isn’t that hard.

@Rob CB uses that money to pay the cost of the phone service. In fact, the AP head himself tweeted he doesn’t like the phone service and that we’ll probably do online scores next year. https://twitter.com/ap_trevor

So no, we’re just saying “SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY” to some random phone company.

Rob1995: Collegeboard pays a company to run the scores by phone service.

@Rob

Plenty of teachers don’t check the scores immediately. (or possibly take a month to…)

Any we have learned we aren’t giving them a $8 profit per call. Of course, we don’t know all the facts, but it is likely they make no profit from this.

LOL I like your username “CAnt concnetrate”

I wish that was my username because I sure can’t XD

I’m hoping for a 5 on my APHG test. I thought it was easy, but then again, the test usually has a lower number of 5s…

Here’s an ap score thread:
