How'd you guys think it was? The multiple choice was a little more difficult than expected, FRQ was really easy to BS, just had problems staying awake.

Also, does anyone know what the curve is for a 5?

Honestly I could have probably passed that without ever taking the class. Easiest AP exam I’ve taken.

I don’t know about without ever taking the class but yes I agree this was probably the easiest one I’ve ever taken.

I agree. The MC I probably only had trouble with a few, and for the FRQ I really only didn’t know one or two bullet points.

One of the easiest tests I’ve ever taken.

That was childs play. I was sure about 50-55 on the MC and for the free response I slipped on one definition but other that that I did it perfectly (filled up the entire booklet with specific info). I didnt study or try much all year either.

I didn’t take the class and I’m 99% sure that I got at least a 4
Edit: Spent about an hour with a practice book last night though

I found it a little challenging, because I started studying 5am today.

Mult choice I’d say in the 50’s as well and FRQ’s mostly fine, maybe one or two things I didn’t know. Our teacher was horrible too and didn’t teach us anything. I just went through my review book once, lol

@methodicsquirrel you filled up the entire booklet? I only filled up one page for each question. :P

Exam was mostly easy overall. Didn’t expect some topics on the MC to show up, but hoping for 50+. FRQ’s 1 and 4 were very easy, FRQ 2 was mostly easy except for one bullet point, and FRQ 3 was hard because I didn’t go over those topics. Mostly expecting and hoping for a 5.

Definitely the easiest test I’ve taken. There were 5-6 MC questions I wasn’t sure on, one of which I didn’t know but the rest I’m reasonably confident I had the correct answer. There was one question that in my opinion had two correct answers.

FRQ were easy, though I’m worried that I didn’t provide examples for every question where they were needed. I provided examples where I thought appropriate, but forgot that they grade based off of them.

The comparative test, on the other hand, was no joke. The FRQ were BRUTAL

MC:
Easy 55+

FRQ:
1+2 - Easy as pie
3 - Easy except one part
4 - had writers block so I had to semi-BS, however the BS was correct information, just bad composition (if that makes any sense)

When do they release the rubric for the FRQs, 48hrs?

I also took the Pysch and Env. Science exams this year, and Gov. seemed much easier than either. And the first two are often seen as the easiest exams. Well, my recent experience says otherwise.

Most likely got a high 3 but if I performed in the 50s for the MC, 4 isn’t out of the question. Considering I studied the night before this for about 2-3 hours, i’m pretty satisfied even with a 3. But the test overall was not too hard at all.

This exam was pretty hard! FRQ 1 and 4 were pretty easy, but 2 and especially 3 were hard! I just hope everyone passes!

self-studied; hoping for a 4.

How’s the curve on this test? Generous?

Easiest AP exam ever. I was astounded by how simple and straightforward the FRQs were. They required little knowledge about large events, acts, cases, etc. In fact, I think you only needed to know like two Supreme Court cases for the entire test. Incredible. I’m not complaining.

Yeah I studied. I think I did just about as well as I would have if I didn’t study…easy. But it was expected so I’m not complaining.

My U.S. Government and Politics exam experience:

Multiple Choice: I went into it thinking I’d do really well since I was getting around 50/60 on most of the practice tests I took. I ended up having to skip and go back to around 15 total questions, and I didn’t feel too confident about 10 of the ones I did answer. After looking over the ones I originally skipped they weren’t as bad, and I finished bubbling the last question just when time was called. Overall I felt the MC wasn’t too bad, but still pretty difficult.

FRQ: I basically had NO practice on this exam’s FRQ and primarily just studied for court cases, hoping that one of the free responses would be all about 3 or so cases and that I’d get through that one with flying colors while having to BS my way through the others. I spent the first 5 minutes reading the four questions and thought to myself, “Really, it’s this easy?” I finished with tons of time left over and feel really confident on all but one of the responses since I forgot two particular terms that were necessary to be familiar with to fully answer that part of the question (not going to specify exactly since we can’t discuss questions yet).

Overall I felt this test was on the easier side; if I studied even one hour longer I probably would have known enough to get a very solid 5. I think I got either a very solid 3 or possibly a 4 due to the multiple choice section.
