IU Early Action Acceptances - Class of 2025

well if it says pre- business it means not a DA but her stats qualifies her to be a DA

if she applied after nov 1 she has to petition or she wont get in

She applied by November 1.

If she meets all requirements for DA to Kelley, will “pre-business” be revised to “business” when she gets her email from Kelley?

I don’t see any info on this on Kelley’s website.

So you just went to one.iu and checked the Application status web app right?

That’s where I saw my decision yes

yes

My son was a direct admit and got his email from Kelley. His major changed from pre-business to business once that happened. He applied before 11/1

Thanks everyone!

do you need to create an IU email if you’re still considering other schools or no?

It seems that Indiana and Kelly, in particular, is delayed this year. This seems to have been the result of a greater number of applications coming in close to the November 1 deadline. You are not alone in this situation. He seems like a very strong applicant for Kelly.

it’s “Kelley”

My son is in the same situation. Accepted at IU on Dec 8, applied Oct 27th, but also has not received Kelley email. His stats are GPA 4.2 and ACT 32.

Thanks for catching the typo. I will not make that mistake again.

There’s only two weeks left now for all IU decisions, cause the website says that by Jan 15th you should receive your decision, and earlier someone had mentioned that the decisions come out every Tuesday for IU, so its either this coming Tuesday, or the one after, the anxiety is building…

Yup. Exact same situation. Also have the stats for direct admission to Hutton Honors College and haven’t heard anything on that either…

Hi everyone, I applied to IU on October 26th and got in on December 22nd, and I haven’t heard from Kelley

My GPA is a 3.97 W and a 3.77 UW

I got a 1420 on the SAT and a 20 on my essay

Based on what I’ve read, I have a good chance of getting into Kelley Direct Admit. Have any of you heard back from them? If so, how long did you have to wait after your IU acceptance to hear from Kelley?

Thanks:)

My Son also got admitted on 12/22, and we have yet to hear from Kelley. There was some logistical confusion with his status as a potential direct admit, so he had actually reached out to his admissions rep to confirm he was on track. The rep confirmed he was, and said it usually takes 10 business days from your admission date, and that he should be hearing this week. And if not, to reach back out to him and he will look into it. He was pretty responsive over the holidays, I was impressed. So keep the faith, hopefully you will hear this week.

I just recieved 8k OOS and I have similar stats to your son…I had 3.89 UW GPA and 1470 SAT. I, too, was discouraged by the amount. BUT, then I heard that they only give 11k MAX to OOS candidates without the SSA. I just finished my SSA and its supposed to give you 1-20k more depending on what you apply for…plus it opens opportunities for more Hutton scholarships (if your kid was admitted into Hutton Honors College)

What additional information is required on the SSA?
