IU Kelley, BYU Marriott, Bentley, or Babson?

Which school would more likely get me a better job as an investment banker? I'm going to major in finance, like the rest of CC. It doesen't have to be a BB, but it can be a middle market, too. I just want to work for three years as an analyst, so I can go back and get my M.B.A at a incredliby prestigious university.

Which one would an M.B.A school like Wharton, Ross, HBS, Haas, McCombs, Darden, or any other similar school be impressed the most by?

Basically, which school is best for finance?

Please be knowledgeable about these school and placement, for this is affecting my future if a wrong decision is made.

Frankly, it is hard to say. I would say any school where you will get the best grades. You will do better if you like the college environment.

dude, byu is ridiculous. no "extra-marital affirs" , no "drugs" and "decent attire"
that means no sex, no weed, no alcohol, no tabacco, not even caffein. and in addition to that u have to wear like pants and dress shirt al the time. did i say they are mormon.

babson is really known just for entrepeneurership

i would go with bentley or kelley

Also for what it's worth: Bentley started out as a school for Finance and accounting. Thus, they do get a lot of firms that interview in these two areas, and they are, accordingly, very strong in these two areas too.

If you do visit Bentley, check out their "trading room." This will probably sell you on the school. It is amazing.

if you think you can get a 3.8+ at Kelley then go there because you can then try and get into that investment banking workshop program. They have excellent IB placements.

I don't think I can get into the workshop, for I don't think I will have the connections/grades to get in. I will probably have around a 3.5-3.6 at Kelley, "if that's where I choose to attend."

"The IBW is the only reason I am TURNING AWAY from IU. It seems as if they only care about their top caliber students getting the IB jobs. I guarantee you, those students getting in just have incredible connections, or they are incredibly intelligent. They probably have no persoality, just in it for the money, and because their dadies help them through everything in life. Most of the people getting rejected are the people that could make it, highly passionate about IB, which they'll never be burned out. To sum it up, I don't want people telling me I can't do something that I've wanted to do since 8TH GRADE It would suck watching other people that didn't hear about IB until their sophomore year in college go into it instead of me, just because they heard about the salary.

I like Marriott a lot because they have a investment banking connection service in the Peery Institute of Financial Services, which impressed me very much. You automatically get in, "if you show you're highly motivated, and you don't need any connections."

Why do you think you will only have a 3.5-3.6...your not even university yet and you are limiting yourself before even starting. Anyways, you should have a higher gpa then that if you want to get into banking from one of those schools.

Bentley sucks get Aston Martin

:P

well the average gpa at Babson is a 2.7, for the difficulty of the school.
