IU Kelley MSIS or Brandeis MA in IT Entrepreneurship

I have received admits to the Master of Science in Information Systems program at Kelley School of Business, Indiana University and to the MA in IT Entrepreneurship program at Brandeis University. IU offered me a GA'ship for around $7,500 while Brandeis offered me a Merit Scholarship worth $19,000.

I am leaning towards IU because its MSIS program seems to have a good reputation, plus it's more affordable than the program at Brandeis. However, Brandeis as an institution seems to have a strong reputation in the world of academia and their program seems to be more intensive and technical with a focus on research. My hesitation with Brandeis is that it has a strong reputation for its undergraduate programs but I haven't really heard that much about their graduate disciplines, especially those in the Computer Science fields. As someone intending to potentially pursue a Ph.D., I am curious as to which program/university would be more recognizable to academics out there?

Kelley and IU have much stronger names (Kelley’s typically considered near-elite for their MBA programs).

I’d go with IU. Like you said, the difference in cost of living will make the aid offers not seem so significant.

This is by no means an authority, but the website provides a good sense of general tiers of the B-Schools.
