I was accepted as a Direct Admit to IU - Kelley as well as the Carlson School of Management at UMN. I’ve lived about 15 minutes away from UMN my whole life, and I think that is my biggest hesitation as I’d like to get away a bit. Was hoping for UW-Madison after being deferred but was denied unexpectedly. Anyway, I’m stuck in the middle between IU and UMN. I like the fact that Kelley has a few more options as majors that interest me such as Real Estate but I’m unsure of how the Kelley School and Carlson School compare in terms of prestige. Any input on academics or social life at these two schools would be greatly appreciated.
Kelley generally is regarded more highly outside the Twin Cities.
Cost not a concern?
Not huge. Very comparable costs with aid and scholarships from IU.
