IU or Miami OH for Finance?

Which would be the better choice for a finance major, indiana or miami oh?

also which is better for econ

IU is ranked higher (10 vs. 17) by Business Week. I don't think they vary much in econ.

^those BW rankings are a year old. The current rankings for business are:

Indiana - 18
Miami - 35

An interesting aspect of the Miami Econ program (not sure if this is true of Indiana or not) is that Econ can be taken either through Arts and Sciences or through the Farmer School of Business. The required courses are a bit different, and its worth looking into which program fits you the best. Of course, the advantage of this to a student like you who is interested in both finance and econ is that a double major in both fields can be completed easier, due to requirement overlap.

Check and see if IU offers Econ through the Kelley School, or if it is strictly offered through the Arts and Sciences or Liberal Arts division of the university.

Indiana by FAR
