Admitted to Indiana University as a direct admit to Kelley School of Business with scholarship money (although paying for college is not an issue still a nice thing for my parents) and I was also admitted to Penn State. I am an NJ resident, so that factors in but I can’t seem to decide between the two schools (this is all assuming I don’t get into Michigan or Wisconsin). I’m looking to pursue a career in finance and most likely going to get my MBA both schools have pros and cons so any help is great thanks!
How much does being close to family matter? Penn State would allow you to take trips home, also more of your friends are probably going there than IU. I know PSU would probably help if you want to go to Wharton for a MBA. I dont know much about the schools of business individually, my dad went to PSU for a MBA because it was close by and he loved it.
@Sniksder16 Being close to my family doesn’t matter that much to me. And yes you’re correct my school normally gets 20+ kids each year going to PSU, once again there’s pros and cons to that. We’ll see. Tough decision still have average stats for U Mich and Wisconsin so for now I’ll hold out for those and cross this bridge when I get there!
