I've been Accepted to 5 schools but I'm not sure which one I should go to.

Personally for me I was not into UC Irvine at all. The campus is a big circle which leads back to each other but I was just not into it at all. Then again this was my experience visiting UC Irvine, and maybe you had a different experience. The campus was more of a rustic feel for me, I hope that this helped with something haha.

@SafalM, “maybe you had a different experience” → Actually I never had one. I am from India and I have never been to USA. So, I am depending on your and others’ opinions of the college. I would be able to come only after getting enrolled.(in August/September)

@applicant1308 Well there’s those that love UC Irvine. I just did not like it at all, and that’s only me… I’m only testifying to the campus and the feeling of it. Our tour guide was excellent, but I just wasn’t feeling the school at all… it was literally a circle. Then there’s the mascot… I am a big fan of mascots and an anteater was not cutting it for me. Once again, this is my experience personally, others can testify to a wonderful experience at UC Irvine. I only visited UC Irvine, I did not attend it, keep that in mind as well.

Anyway UCI is not in the same category for CS as the others so the point is moot - weather is going to be different for a student from India no matter where they go and when you come from abroad you don’t choose based on weather.

UMass CS does have an elite reputation.
