I've been rejected...

Ok ok, I got yah. But I know I'm going to be. Check this out:

Best friend's stats (applied EA, waitlisted): 1530/800/800/800/5.3wgpa 1/77 rank eagle scout NorthJersey Scholar numerous awards from state

Me: 1370/710/700/700 4.7w 3.85uw 8/77 Co-leader of school's NJ Science League top 12 (soon to be top 10!!) Chem II team (out of 160+ teams in the state) - Mu Alpha Theta Secretary, RPI Medal Award, youth group leader

My interviewer said i was "great" so i guess that helps a little. I dont have a real good hook except that I have a twin (two tuitions at once) and a son of a single parent working two jobs to make ends meet. That was told in the fin-aid stuff. What grabbed us to Harvard even with a tiny chance was the fact that we would qualify for almost all the tuition to be covered under Harvard's "Under $40,000 salary" fin-aid plan. So anyways, when the rejection letter comes April 1st (or online rather) I will congratulate all acceptees - I think I have good shot at Cornell and a decent/small chance at Columbia, so I'll be awaiting those as well.

haha i guess you guys didnt get the subconsious "chances" thing in this post - i said it myself though but maybe i have a 1/10000 chance - lol

i think you definitely have a chance..dont we all....nobody can tell u if ull get in or not...we just gotta wait and seeeeee..yikesaaaaaa

Where in New Jersey are you from? I'm from Mansfield in Warren County...Hackettstown, home to M&M Mars, is the next town over...

bergen county - midland park - hah I hope I get get into Harvard but almost 100% sure that I won't. You never know though.

i strongly doubt you''ll get in

maybe i'm a little biased cuz of the topic, but still - no

Yikes.

Harsh, no?
