I've just had the most awful, awful day

I wake up this morning at 5:00 to finish like a bazillion assignments because 3rd quarter ends on Friday, and what's worse is that i'm not even going to be there on Thursday or Friday because I'm going on a band trip.

After waking up I feel really, really sick to my stomach and decide I can't go to school even though I have 3 tests today. But 2 of them are after lunch so I decide to go in then and take the 3rd afterschool. So I literally FAIL all 3 of them, like around 40% for one and probably 60-70% for the others. Then after school a teacher hands back a test from last week, 70%. And I find out I have yet another MASSIVE assignment due tomorrow.

My 3rd quarter GPA is going to be like a 3.2 or lower coming from like a 3.7-3.8.

And the worst part of all is that I have to go next week and visit Brown, Yale, Vassar, Wesleyan and Cornell after feeling so incredibly stupid. It's going to be so miserable.

:(

I know that since these are my problems, I'm doing really well in the grand scope of things. But I'm so upset right now.

I would give you a cookie if was somewhere near you. Cookies make everything better.

aw, hun. i know exactly that feeling. i've woken up the next morning feeling like i'm about to throw up, but KNOWING i have a physics, chem and calc test that day, OF COURSE i have to go to school. (and most likely fail them all, but hey - better then missing school) and then going home with a 102.5 fever and probably ten hours of homework, all due the next day.

my last quarter gpa was too awful to mention, and i need to raise my 3.6ish to a 3.8 by the end of this year, because it's my LAST year to improve my gpa before college apps (junior year, aaah!) and i want to have atleast a decent shot at some of the top tier schools...

i hate days like those! cheer up - soon it'll be spring, and then SUMMER (assuming you live in detriot) when the sun is always shiniiing and spring break comes around... soon summer, and next year we'll be SENIORS, the coolest of the cool :)

but in the meantime: don't stress out so much! (yes, i need to take my own advice too) just take things one at a time, give yourself time to relax and actually enjoy life and not let school take over.

best luck with everything! <3
