Congratulations to all those who got accepted into an Ivy-League. To those who didn't, I won't even give my condolences and say sorry because I am sure that with the amazing high school records of the many brillant people on this board that you all got into schools of ivy-league caliber.

Good Luck To You All!! Although I am sure that it isn't needed as we will all excel!

I already posted earlier, but I wanted to add that I think this thread will be very helpful to others. You can see how random the ivies acceptances have been and that there are no trends of any two particular schools accepting a candidate. Crapshoot !

Wouldn't it be nice if there were some sort of clearing house where kids could trade acceptances? I'm sure there's somebody out there who'd trade their MIT acceptance for my kid's Harvard acceptance! We do it with Halloween candy in our neighborhood why not college? ;)

SexyLikeAScorpio .... I got into both Harvard and Yale, but I wish I could "trade" my Yale acceptance like mathmom mentioned above. My decision basically comes down to Harvard and Stanford just because I am interested in the sciences and math.

I know, I noticied that you did..congrats. I got rejected from both..but I will be very happy at Cornell. Stanford is great also, I would have applied if not for a fear of planes..I live in nyc and I would have to take a train to Cali. Standford is also extremely diverse. Good luck in your decision!!

In response to a message above, i got into both yale and harvard, and i know quite a lot of people who got into both (and usually many other top notch schools with them).
