I really want to get into one of the top computer science programs and then possibly go into patent law, specializing in computer science, or graduate school. I am a senior this year and have to send out my applications in the next couple of months so I am eager to know my chances of getting into the top schools.

GPA: 4.0
High School Ranking: top 15%(Don't know for sure, but I know its at least this high)
SAT Score: 2150 (potentially higher when I take it a second time in October)
Classes: All the most difficult courses I could take, including all AP courses my school offered, excluding one due to a schedule conflict.
Sports: Track for 3 years and Cross Country for 2 years

Extra Curricular Activities:
Over 100 hours of community service
Passion for Real Number Analysis, theorem proving(have copies of some custom proofs I made)
Website Design and Hosting Business
Free Websites for Non-Profit organizations (2 so far, willing to make more whenever I can)
Student Council Sophomore year
Real Estate Business in which I purchase real estate with capital from my website business, own 2 properties currently
Current Affairs Club at school
Head Technology Prefect out of 3
NHS(if that means anything)
Lead Programmer out of 3 on my FTC team(robotics), which has about 10 people total on it
General and Web Programming(Python, PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS)
Avid Power Politics and Marketing/war book reader ( Sun Tzu, Niccolo Machiavelli, etc) I am not sure if this one is useful.

My Choice Schools are Stanford, Carnegie Mellon, MIT, and maybe Harvard

Let me know if I have a chance.

Also, Should I attach my proofs that I've made to my application?

Also should I list the profits of my website business when applying?

I’ve made around $2700 this year on website design and $200 per month with hosting.

I don’t know if the profits hurt or help me, considering its not enough for someone to live on.

I would also like to add that everything I’ve done was only me, with no help from peers, including coding of php and javascript, graphics design, and css design(the coding of the design).

All the websites have been sold to local businesses

Based on your EC’s I can tell you’re passionate about programming and your stats seem pretty good to me. As long as you do well on your essay, I think you have a good chance!

I do hope that your class rank is higher, because a 2150 and 15% won’t do it for any of those schools, unfortunately. If it is (it prob. should be since you’re a 4.0 and have taken the most rigorous courses you could have), and you can bump the SAT by about 100 points, then we’re talking for such selective colleges. Once you find out your SAT score and rank for certain, it will be easier to chance you… but if you end up with the worst case scenario of 15% and a 2150, I must admit that I don’t see you getting into any unless your essays are spectacular or you have a hook you didn’t mention.

I would of thought a business that makes thousands of dollars owned by a 16 year old would of been a hook. Are there many students that do that?

Do you think the college would realize that being #1 in my class might be difficult considering that one I go to a highly competitive private school and two that I spend hours of work on my business?

So you think that all people who are ranked above you in the same high competitive private school and probably have the same commitment in another field, sport or group don’t deserve it as you do? No one would care if you hadn’t enough time or something at Harvard, MIT or Stanford 'cause you’re expected to have a high GPA, high SATs, ECs that stand out, leadership, and hooks or something that make you stand out.

Your GPA is good and your EC is definitely something uncommon that will make you stand out, but you can’t assume that you are the only one who do things like that 'cause there are MANY amazing candidates in the schools you mentioned. I’m not saying that you can’t do it, but that you seem kinda superb here. Your rank isn’t good for those schools, period. BUT if you manage to increase your SAT and write great essays then you will have possibilities since your ECs and GPA are good. You need to take two SAT subjects also and score above 700.

When I say hook, I mean something like URM, recruited athlete, etc., not a strong point in your ECs. To answer your question, no, there aren’t, but I’m sure there are a fair number of students applying to these schools who do have successful businesses. I recall reading in the CMU RD (or maybe ED) thread that one poster was making 5 digits from his online ventures (it was between 10-30k). He’s obviously an exceptional exception, but just consider that. Regardless, it’s an impressive EC, but there are tons of other similarly impressive ones that applicants you’ll be competing with have.

They will account for how competitive your school is, but they still want you to be at least top 10%. As for the business bit… I dunno man, we all have ECs.

Are you chancing for the Ivy League or those schools you mentioned? Because only one school - that you mentioned as a “maybe” - was even in the Ivy League. But I would think MIT is a great choice for compsci.
