Ivy League chat

Hey,

For those applying to the ivy league or other top colleges, please post your AIM screen name so that we can chat and get to know our competition :)

Perhaps we can even form a chatroom where all of us can engage in conversation.

btw my screen name is greensoap6 and I am planning to apply Harvard EA.

Thanks!!

come on guys!!

aww man...that sucks......nobody's here.

well..I'm kb54010...but i was rejected from haahhvahd last year..so you might not want to come to me for advice..lol.

hey i want to join too lol. im turning a junior next year so i didnt take the SATs yet, but i still wanna get to know my competition so i can see what i have to do.

Fun fact: the students that post on CC are not at all indicative of the actual sample of Harvard applicants. In other words, chat with each other because you want to, not because you're getting to know your "competition."

We get to know the BEST of our competition.

do you really think CC has an very above average pool of applicants?

seems like it. I mean on this Harvard board when ppl were posting decisions on March 31st, the ppl on this site seemed to be far above average in all facets (am i spelling that right?) of the application: SAT, ECs, essays (supposedly), rank

Possibly, but it definitely has a very above average pool in terms of how much students here are focused on the admissions process. The students who are motivated to spend time posting here (much like the adults) are not a random sample of the applicant pool in terms of their level of interest in various kinds of scorekeeping (admit rates, average SATs, etc.).
