Ivy League school - what are my chances?

I'm a sophmore in a mississippi public school. Since the 8th grade i've had the highest average in every class i've taken(should be valedictorian), and i take the most advanced classes available. Im a member of the cross-country team, academic team, senoir beta club, and i have served twice on the student government. I plan on volunteering alot at a local hospital, and this summer i'll be going to johns hopkins university for a student leader medical summit. Do i have a chance of getting into an ivy league school (pref. Harvard, Princeton, Cornell, or Yale) or Johns Hopkins? And what, asides from scoring highly on SAT/ACT, can i do to improve my chances? And do you think that being from mississippi damages my chances?

If any current ivy league students could answer, it would be great.

Thanks everyone for reading

you are on track. post some specific stats

you’re still a sophomore, we can’t really tell you anything yet without your SAT/ACT. have you taken any APs?

No, my school doesn’t offer any APs. Next year I’m going to take a college credit class though, and next summer I’m probably going to attend a summer college session at either Harvard or Yale. Will that help? And do you think my chances go down because my school doesn’t offer any AP classes?

29 act back in 8th grade. taking it again this year, hope for about a 33. 4.0 gpa. And also next summer i will probably attend the summer session at yale, and hopefully i’ll do well there.

it sounds like you have a decent chance. the ivies are never for certain though. good luck
