<p>I'm thinking about applying as a Computer Engineering major and I haven't heard much about the Engineering School at UCSC. Any insight or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Also, is the Engineering School impacted or harder to get into than the other majors? </p>

<p>Do you think I have a decent chance to get in with:</p>

<p>GPA: 3.81, top 10% in Bay Area HS, 7 APs and 2 Honors courses
SAT: 1700, Reading 480, Math 650, Writing 570
SAT2: Math 2 600, Physics 530
Fair amount of ECs: varsity sports, community service, working, some awards, etc.</p>

<p>Engineering is not impacted at UCSC, you will get in with your stats. They also have 3/2 program in which you stay 3 years at UCSC and get BA in a social science, and you spend 2 years a Berkley to get bs in engineering.</p>

<p>the 3/2 program no longer applies to people who want to get a computer engineering degree (i believe) because computer engineering is now being offered at ucsc.</p>
