I didn’t really understand the price of the cube one. It was somethign like, 2 inch cube weighing 3 is 200$. At this rate, what is the price of a 3 inch cube?

I just said 300, I didn’t udnerstand what it was asking.

do u remember the conditions of the question about x being a real number, did it ever say x could not equal 0?

i think there were two questions dealing with x beign a real number. One did say x could not equal 0, one doesnt. I’m almost positive.

werdddd, then what did u put with the one that gave options about which one always must be a real number if x is a real number?

there was one (that did not say that x cannot be 0) where they asked which must be a real number, and answer chocies were something like 1/x, x/x-1, etc. Is that the one you’re tlaking about?

yeh, i had no idea. I also did not know the other one. Which was the answer?

the answer was 1/x(squared)+1

so even if x was a negative number, there is no probability that the denominator could be 0

and the other question that gave you three options and you had to say which of the threee it was?

i got like 4 Es in a row. Was i the only one?

i remember i got something like that too, at last questions right ? after 40

ditto that: 1/(x^2+1)

how did u guys do?

I GOT AN 800!!! i was so sure i got one of the questions wrong (i thought i got the box one wrong, but i actually don’t even remember what i put). if you guys need any questions answered, i’d be happy to try.

@Monkeydude im taking the Math IC in June, wondering if you could offer your study tips/which books you used/ how much time you put in? thanks a lot :)

i knew all the material so i didn’t really ‘study,’ but i did do about 10 practice tests so i guess those DO count. don’t freak out, it’s much easier than it seems. be really good at typing stuff on your calculator because you don’t want to make any stupid calculator mistakes. i used online sparknotes, barrons, princeton review, and kaplan for tests. take sparknotes first (it’s the easiest). i got i think a 670 the first time i took it online. after you finish sparknotes, go to kaplan then princeton review then barrons. your score might get worse, but don’t worry about it. the actual test is so much easier than the practice ones.

long story short, the material is easy. just get used to doing those types of problems. the more tests you do, the better you get.

^^ thanks a lot, really appreciated. and congrats!!

thanks again :slight_smile: study hard and good luck! i have to worry about math 2 and chem for june now -__-;;
