JAN 4th re-submission

I am freaking out about my Yale supplement essay and am therefore seriously considering re-submission... =/

Does anybody know much about this and whether Yale do actually allow you to submit as late as Jan 4th as they mention on their website?>

PLEASE HELP!!!

Have you already submitted your application? I don’t believe that Yale allows you to submit the same thing twice… That’d give applicants an unfair advantage.

If the Yale website says that the deadline has been extended, then it has been extended. Don’t worry.

Yale’s website says that you may submit your application slightly later if there are technical difficulties preventing you from submitting your application by the deadline. It says nothing about re-submitting anything, and, unfortunately, most schools don’t allow students to submit new versions of their essays after the application was already submitted.

The Yale website says that the Admissions Office reopens on Jan 4. The application deadline is (or rather, was) 31 Dec 2009. Where did you get your info?

As for technical difficulties, it’s already 3 Jan… Yale is unlikely to consider such a delay, but you could get lucky. :)

^ Unfortunately, I don’t think there’s very much room for luck here. The application was submitted before the deadline, and, in submitting it, the applicant acknowledged that s/he wouldn’t be able to alter it anymore…

Yeah… I thought 2014 hadn’t submitted. You can still submit apps through commonapp now, even for schools whose deadlines have passed (I just tried :P)… but I don’t know if these will get considered.
