i put A for fair and but for for hagio sophia

The answer for the last one was E.
Im 99% sure.
Does someone remember the sentences?

What mistake did you find in the World Fair question?

I personally found that using the word "those" is unnecessary and vague in the sentence. Overall, I thought choice A was fine as is.

Okay, the sentence was like
At the fair, Crowds were larger and more enthusiastic than

A- the crowds at the past fair had been

E- those at the past fair

I think A is right, but I might have completely mistyped the sentence and answers :P

does anyone remember the skate park question. was it several or was it its that was wrong?

For the World Fair ?, I chose E because the answer with "the past fair had been" seems wrong due to "had been", which seems to be dead wood.

If Invisible Monster has it right (and I kinda just zoomed over it), then the answer was probably E. Which means I now need to get lucky on that essay.

"1. You can't just reword questions in the way you see fit, it has to apply to original context."

I know, I was just showing that if you use the common method of switching the "order" of the sentence, it still makes sense. And if you use which, it doesn't.

But it seems like I'm alone on this one so you're all probably right, I must have misread.

"Had been" doesn't have to be there I think.

someone make a consolidated list!
(who has been keeping up with this thread because i know i haven't)

the hagia sophia one is actually E not C because parallelism isn't the error: it is not a "not only-but also" construction, and "celebrated for and celebrated because of" both work.

there were two Es - the oysters and the hagia sophia. the composer one is more, not most (comparison between two, Telemann and one of the other two composers).

Consolidated List (I'm missing a lot. Add on!)
Sentence Improvement
World Fair (as it is)
State Legislature (as it is)

Error ID
Supreme Court ("they are")
Composter ("the most of")
Oyster harvest (no error)
Hagia Sophia ("but because of")
Codfish ("they are")

Paragraph Improvement
Friends did not know how to go about making careers
"however" between med school and peace corps
The story was reassuring

BTW, anyone know what essay score you usually need in order to get 800 with 1 MC wrong? I'm dying to know...

Hagia Sophia is C

"Friends did not know how to go about making careers"

What was this question?? and the answers?

World Fair was e.
It was not A.

Yeah about a 10-11 should make it.

So was section 4(hard) or section 5 (easy) writing experimental? can anyone help

^ you should have had a long writing section about a NASA astronaut.

elaslawek-
