“inexpensive hotels” is correct because all the other reasons listed were dealing with the economy of the trip. “inexpensive hotels” was the only answer that directly fit.</p>

<p>Scientists were “baffled” because their observations did not match the folklore theories of their ancesters</p>

<p>instead of</p>

<p>because they could not predict the movement path</p>

<p>the hotels one was tricky. i put faster travel because it talked about less toll booths, and i relate that to faster travel. im prolly wrong, judging from this thread’s responses.</p>

<p>Um, I think it was just something along the lines of, “What is the author describing in lines x through y?” I’m positive I put this as the answer, though.</p>
